Benalmádena Pueblo will once again be filled with life, aromas, and color with the traditional Arab Souk, which will take place from August 28 to 31, once again becoming one of the most anticipated cultural and commercial events of the summer.
For four days, residents and visitors will be able to enjoy a journey through the essence of the Arab world with more than 40 artisan stalls, live workshops, shows, gastronomy, and open-air music, in an experience designed for the whole family.
The event will take place in various locations in the old town: Calle Real, Plaza de Andalucía, Calle San José, Plaza del Alguacil, and Plaza de las Tres Culturas. There will also be a special food court.
The program also includes parades, daily Sephardic music concerts with the group Al Folk, a special Ziraj concert on Saturday at 11:00 p.m. in Plaza de Andalucía, and a birds of prey show in Plaza del Alguacil, with live flights over the market. There will also be henna, Arabic calligraphy, and live woodcarving workshops, children’s activities, a medieval boat show, and a play area on Calle San José.
